I was setting up a Vista box at work a few months ago, and the PC itself was pretty high spec.

I couldn't believe the load time :$ and overall Vista was just confusing enough to be different from XP...

The whole THIS PROGRAM IS TRYING TO DO SOMETHING, ARE YOU OK WITH THAT? shat me... The Mac ad still makes me laugh.
    Fashionably depressed.

my computer died on saturday morning, and as i'm leaving to go OS tomorrow with about 40 hrs of work still to do, i rushed out and bought a new box, unfortunately it had vista preloaded on it. OMG how fucking annoying. "cancel or allow" "cancel or allow" "cancel or fucking allow"

not to mention that acrobat 5.0 and autocad 2004 are incompatible with it and you've got one major pain in the ass.

you can do exactly what you could in XP but they've put everything in different places.

MS suffer greatly from many users not upgrading to newer office versions as they haven't been able to offer more hyped up must have features. Progress since Office 2000 has been minimal at best for your standard user.
    So so disco...
